This is a small abstract painting I made following a visit to Dungeness which is a vast shingle beach very close to a nuclear power station on the coast of Kent. It is a strange place, unlike any other I have been to. It feels quite desolate but has a peculiar beauty. The odd rusting motor or battered hull pay testament to the important part Dungeness played both in defending the nation and to its history of being a key player in the fishing industry. Framed in a black wooden tray frame.
