I painted this thinking about the hamlets and landscape around my father-in-law’s old house near Lochwinnoch, west of Glasgow. It is hilly farming country, with rich, fertile soil and occasional rows of small houses with their charming wee gardens, air of tranquility and long-standing. It is mixed media but mostly oil. It would be approx £60 more to frame (plus £15 postage)
